We went camping this past weekend near Higgins Lake at a private campground for their annual Halloween camping weekend. I'm not sure why is was so early. It was a little chilly the first night but the kids stayed toasty in their new sleeping bags they love. Plus we put a heater in the tent and it kept it about 55 degrees inside all night. The kids had a blast as usual. I took them on a 2 mile hike Saturday and we saw and hear "gunners" as Max called the duck hunters.
